Feedback requested on draft institutional accreditation mid-cycle evaluation report

We kindly request your feedback on the draft of UAA’s Mid-Cycle Evaluation report. Feedback from all UAA faculty, staff and students is welcome! The report and a feedback survey are available on UAA’s Institutional Accreditation website. A complete proof including additional formatting will be completed at a later point, so we are not asking for proofreading or wordsmithing at this time. Please see the context and questions below.

“Today's Board of Regents decision honors the work done by our teams, student-athletes and supporters from across Alaska,” said UAA Director of Athletics Greg Myford. “They have shown the significance and relevance that our programs have. There is still work to be done in terms of getting to the fundraising goals, but the additional time granted today provides great hope behind the existing momentum. This will be an opportunity to inform residents and businesses, and all interested Alaskans are welcome to join us.

University of Alaska Interim President Pat Pitney delivered the annual State of the University address Wednesday, Feb. 24 during which she highlighted success stories across the UA system and the many ways the university benefits the economic needs of the state.

Educators Rising Alaska conference scheduled for Feb. 28–March 1

Educators Rising Alaska will host its annual conference virtually Feb. 28-March 1. The theme for this year’s EdRisingAK is “Rising Above Adversity.” EdRisingAK seeks to support middle school through collegiate students as they become Alaska educators.
