Looking for musicians

Looking for musicians interested in joining an alternative band. We want to experiment with sound and attempt to create something new with a diverse range of musical directions. At present were looking for: a percussionist; pianist; singers, hopefully two one alto and one mezzo. And someone to add electronica as well.

Sept. 25, 2020: Trekking the Climate Crisis: From Knowledge to Action

Join climate scientist and lifelong Alaskan Zach Brown, Ph.D., for a journey into the climate crisis and how we can tackle it. Zach will describe his work in the polar latitudes studying how warming and sea ice loss affect the Arctic and Antarctic ecosystems.

UAA to remain mostly remote for spring 2021 semester

UAA's spring 2021 semester will continue with most classes being offered via distance learning.

Chancellor Sandeen announced today the decision for UAA to stay in our current, mostly remote, operating mode for the spring 2021 semester. This decision applies to all UAA campuses and programs. Given infection patterns and the likelihood we will not see much improvement between now and the start of spring semester classes, we will continue to use mostly alternate course delivery with limited face-to-face courses.
