Student Engagement Ambassadors are vital to the success of fundraising at the University of Alaska and to maintaining strong relationships with alumni and friends. We are looking for outgoing students at the Anchorage and Fairbanks campuses who are interested in connecting with alumni and friends via phone, sharing university updates, and raising support for university students and programs.

UAA researchers examine wastewater to assess COVID-19 presence

Researchers from UAA, in collaboration with UAF and the Alaska Departments of Environmental Conservation and Health and Social Services, have developed an in-state capability to detect COVID-19 in wastewater in Alaska.
