Enrollment Services will open late, Friday, Aug. 23, 2024 for an all-staff event.

Road Closure Thursday, Aug. 8-Friday, Aug. 23

From Thursday, Aug. 8 through Friday, Aug. 23, the intersections of West Campus Drive, Seawolf Drive, Mallard Drive and Career Center Drive will be closed due to Chugach Electric performing utility trenching and repaving these roadways.

A new program led by UAA's Alaska Small Business Development Center will deploy over $83 million in federal funds to drive private sector investments into rural and Alaska Native-owned businesses across the state. By bringing together 125 of Alaska’s federally recognized tribes to create the largest tribal consortium in the nation, the program will provide critical financial resources for Alaska’s small businesses and help foster a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Staff Alliance offers Fall 2024 semester fee support

The UA Staff Alliance is pleased to once again offer a class fee scholarship for UA classes taken by staff that directly support their career or professional development. The scholarship, good for the 2024 fall semester, is for up to $250 per employee.

Information Technology Services August Training Schedule

The UAA IT Technical Support Center (TSC) staff will be attending a training class for the dates of Aug. 5-9, 2024.

Office of the Bursar Closed Aug. 7-8

The UAA Office of the Bursar will be closed Wednesday, Aug. 7 and Thursday Aug. 8 for staff training. Staff will check emails periodically throughout the day to respond to student inquiries.

UAA's aviation program awarded $50,000 in scholarships from Atlas Air Worldwide

Atlas' $50,000 donation to UAA will fund seven scholarships to help offset education costs for students pursuing careers in the aviation industry. The needs-based scholarships will help expand opportunities for students while addressing critical workforce shortages.
