The UAA Honors College and the Blood Bank of Alaska are teaming up for a Halloween-themed blood drive on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Look for the 'LifeMobile' outside Rasmuson Hall. You can simply drop in or make an appointment by calling (907) 222-5630. Eat well, stay hydrated, and bring your photo ID.

Oct. 28, 2019: UA Board of Regents special board meeting and statewide public testimony

The University of Alaska Board of Regents (BOR) will hold a special board meeting from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28 to review and discuss the chancellors’ responses to the Sept. 26 letter from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). Also on Oct. 28, from 4–5 p.m., the board will hold statewide public testimony. This is an opportunity for anyone in Alaska to share their perspectives directly with the Board of Regents on issues facing the University of Alaska.
