The Health Promotion Team has partnered with Green Fee Board to provide free menstrual products in restrooms around campus.

Lewiston, N.Y. – Tyler Krivtsov made 33 saves to lead Alaska Anchorage to a 3-1 win at Niagara Saturday. The win was the first collegiate win for Krivtsov.

Fairbanks, Alaska (Jan. 11) – Senior guard Emilia Long stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, seven rebounds, four assists and five steals Saturday, and the UAA women’s basketball team dominated defensively in a 72-36 road victory over Alaska Fairbanks at the Patty Center.

Reno, Nev. – University of Alaska Anchorage sophomore Joshua Caleb ran 6.59 (altitude converted) in the 60 to set numerous records at the Silver and Blue Invitational Friday.

Lewiston, N.Y. – Max Helgeson and Matt Johnson each tallied one goal and one assist for Alaska Anchorage in a 6-2 loss at Niagara Friday.

Anchorage (Jan. 9) – Senior guards Dillon Barrientos and Sean Evans scored 17 points apiece, but the UAA men’s basketball team could not repel a late Northwest Nazarene run Thursday in a 71-63 loss at the Alaska Airlines Center.

Copper Mountain, Colo. – Ashleigh Alexander led the University of Alaska Anchorage ski team with a 10th place finish in the giant slalom at the DU Invite Wednesday. Alexander finished in a time of 1:38:20.

Portland, Ore. (Jan. 6) – After helping his team stretch its winning streak with a pair of crucial road victories, UAA senior Sean Evans was named Monday as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week for men’s basketball.

Georgetown, Colo. – Ella Bromee led the University of Alaska Anchorage ski team with second-place finish in the slalom at the RMISA Alpine Qualifier Monday.
