Quake Cottage coming to campus Tuesday, Sept. 17

Tuesday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Outside the UAA Campus Bookstore
As part of Safety Awareness Month, the Quake Cottage will be in front of the Bookstore on Tuesday. The simulator, operated by the Alaska Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Management, is designed to let people experience the effects of a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. Printed information and guidance about surviving earthquakes will also be available. This event is free.
