Oil and Gas Professional Training program's third and fourth modules now offered at no cost

The third and fourth modules of the Oil and Gas Professional Training program are now being offered at no cost to attract broader audiences. The third module, titled "Health, security, safety and environment," will be held June 4 and 5. The fourth module, titled "Asset optimization and improvement," will be held June 10 and 11. Suicide Prevention Training Opportunity - June 18, 2014

UAA Integrated Suicide Prevention Initiative (UAA-ISPI) offers suicide prevention training for students to help them recognize suicide risk and feel confident intervening with someone who may be suicidal. The next session is scheduled for June 18.

Every spring, Facilities' Turf and Horticulture/Landscaping divisions transform a gravel-specked, mud-strewn campus into a verdant wonderland with a little help from nature and a lot of manpower. Maintaining all the grass on campus, for example, requires about 4,500 hours of maintenance each summer.
