The ConocoPhillips Arctic Science and Engineering Endowment will fund arctic engineering and science programs at UAA in perpetuity. Thanks to a one-year-early payoff, faculty and students will have early access to the funds—$138,000 this fiscal year end.

The artists of Clay Body, a UAA student club, have decided to pay it forward and established an endowment this month through the University of Alaska Foundation. Proceeds from their popular pottery sales will directly benefit future students with annual awards.
