Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference continues to inspire writers, readers and poets

Started in 2001 as a small, Alaska-grown writing conference, the Kachemak Bay Writers' Conference has hosted big-name writers over the years, including Tobias Wolff, Amy Tan and Anthony Doerr. Now in its 17th year, the renowned conference has made a name for itself in the literary community.

Beginning May 29, the Alumni Drive and Providence Drive intersection will experience a partial closure, expected to last three weeks. During this closure, East Campus access will be from the intersection at UAA Drive and Alumni Drive.
