Claudia Lampman, vice provost for student success, asked students to share their best tips for successful online learning. UAA students are resourceful and above all helpful. Within 24 hours, nearly 200 students responded to her request. Here's what they had to say.

April 13 and 14: UA Board of Regents committee meeting to discuss Expedited Program Review

On Thursday, April 9, the UA Board of Regents will hear public testimony by telephone from 4–5 p.m. The special public testimony session will be one of several opportunities to share your perspectives on proposed academic changes directly with regents. Details on that public testimony will be forthcoming.

Despite some initial hiccups, we are very thrilled to announce that the Enrollment Services Call Center (786-1480) is once again operational and staff are handling calls 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Students with questions regarding Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, Transcripts, Transfer, Graduation, Student Records, International Student Visas, DegreeWorks or Military benefits are welcome to call 786-1480.

New Student Orientation is going online for April, May and June! We are asking that all departments who have YouTube videos or other media they would like shared for the virtual experience to please send them our way. We will be updating all of the content on the virtual Orientation and will also work towards providing additional virtual engagement opportunities for students.

Please join us for an art show create and curated by Professor Herminia Din’s Senior Seminar art students around the Books of the Year theme, “Building Community Resilience.” This year’s art show features eleven students and is entitled “Reconnection: Reflection, Deflection and Harmony” — it features work from a variety of mediums such as painting, ceramics and digital art.
