As part of our U-Pass program, UAA students, staff and faculty who qualify may also use the Municipality of Anchorage’s AnchorRIDES program for free with a valid WolfCard. This program provides paratransit services to individuals whose disabilities prevent them from using the People Mover fixed route system.
Hey, Seawolves! We made it! Campus Kickoff 2021 is this Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021 at the Alaska Airlines Center Plaza from 1-4 p.m. As always, community safety is our #1 priority in hosting UAA’s first community event back on campus.
Look for our welcome desks throughout campus. We can help you find your classroom, learn how to access buildings and services, and provide updates on available services and supports. We can't wait to see you!
Please remember to wear a face mask while inside any UAA building. Regardless of your vaccination status, all individuals must wear a mask while inside university buildings. When you are outdoors and on university property, masks are only required when it is not possible to maintain six feet of distance from other people or when mandated by an event- or location-specific mitigation plan.
I’m emailing because I want to be sure that you know that UAA has so many ways to help you succeed in your classes. After all, that’s the reason you are here and I’m happy to share with you three ideas that I think can help you during the semester.
The start of the fall semester is just around the corner and I’m emailing to remind you that UAA has moved to electronic keyless locks for most of our buildings on the Anchorage campus. The exterior doors of most buildings are locked during business hours and you will need a properly activated WolfCard ID to open the doors.
