March 25: Women in Engineering Night

Women in Engineering Night gives students and professionals a chance to make lasting connections. We will host a game of Kahoot, have speed-mentoring sessions where you can ask professionals about their daily routines as engineers, advice on classes and career paths, work-life balance, and anything else you’d like to know about, and have a speaker from Boeing! Food will be provided!

Like bikes? Off the Chain student night is April 4

Off the Chain is Anchorage's bicycle collective. We have tools, space, parts and know-how to help you fix your bike. We also fix donated bikes to get them back on the road. Stop by student night to crank on bikes and learn more about volunteering this summer.

A 'mindset of joy' helped UAA gymnastics overcome obstacles this season

Athletes overcame the stress of fundraising and inexperience to conclude a solid season with many career highs. The team’s final competition was Saturday at UC Davis.

Business Plan Competition finalists to square off in Perfect Pitch finale

The Business Plan Competition is more exciting than ever, according to organizer Dr. Helena S. Wisniewski. “The finalists are outstanding. The program was just starting out when the pandemic hit, so this is the first year we will have an in-person finale.”

Job opening: Accounts Payable & Travel Student Assistant

The UAA Accounts Payable & Travel Department is seeking applications for a Student Assistant C position to assist with reviewing travel expense reimbursements and direct pay/employee reimbursements, filing, communicating with students, staff, faculty and vendors professionally, loading and indexing files into our electronic file retention system, and assisting the AP/Travel Manager as needed.
