Welcoming students, faculty, staff and alumni to a lunchtime event the fourth Tuesday of the month with music and food trucks. June's event features performer Emma Hill and a FREE meal for UAA students. Show your WolfCard at the UAA table to receive a green student ticket, or a red ticket for up to $5 off your meal and have lunch with UAA!

Coming soon! New interface for UA HR requests

As we bid a fond farewell to Spoke, effective July 1, 2022, employees will have a new, user-friendly website interface for submitting HR requests and searching the knowledge database. The UA HR team is working hard to ensure continuation of services during this transition.

Job opening: Event Services Guest Services Representative for summer

University Housing/Conference/Event Services works with multiple conference groups and visiting groups each summer. We provide a fast paced, fun working environment to assist housing guests with housing and conference related tasks while guests are enjoying campus housing at UAA.

June 24: Web Advisory Committee Meeting

Open to the campus community, the Web Advisory Committee will meet Friday, June 24, 11 a.m.-noon via Zoom to discuss our web experiences for students. Non-members are welcome to provide feedback or considerations to the committee during a short open forum portion a the start of the meeting.

June 24: Research-based services for older adults with dementia and their caregivers using occupational therapy

Pease join Emily Byl with Well Haven Occupational Therapy who will discuss research-based services for older adults living with dementia and their family caregivers using occupational therapy. Please help us expand our audience to include research scientists, service providers, and person and their families affected by Alzheimer's disease.

Job opportunity: Fiscal Coordinator (Athletics)

UAA Athletics is inviting applications for a full-time Fiscal Coordinator. This position is the purchasing guru and revenue handler for all athletic teams and programs and works closely with coaches and staff.

Emergency manager leaving UAA

UAA Emergency Manager Ron Swartz has announced that he will be leaving the university in early July. Ron started with the University Police Department in 1997, helped create the emergency manager position in 2007, and has been working in that role under Environmental Health & Safety since 2015.
