In Spring '23, the Department of Writing is offering a new, two-credit grant writing course. Topics to be covered include: evaluating funding opportunities, building relationships with collaborators and community partners and drafting and workshopping a grant proposal. Registration is now open.

Graduate student Carla Browning is conducting research as part of a University of Alaska Southeast Master of Public Administration capstone course, PADM 690-JD1. The research provides employees with an opportunity to share their experiences.

A $1.5 million grant to the University of Alaska Anchorage School of Social Work will significantly increase enrollment capacity, establish a pathway to licensure for graduates, add faculty and staffing, and offer continuing education to maintain clinical licenses.
