Job opening: Assistant Professor for Legal Studies Program

The University of Alaska Anchorage Justice Center Legal Studies program is seeking applications for a full-time permanent, tenure track, nine-month appointment commencing in August 2022 at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Open forums with College of Health Dean finalists

The search committee for the Dean of the College of Health is happy to announce four finalists and invite the UAA community to attend forums to meet the candidates. Open forums will include a presentation by the finalist and a time for questions from the audience. Additional sessions will allow for more Q&A time with specific groups of stakeholders.

Registration open for Building Engaged Teams course

Is the Zoom environment making team building difficult? Are you struggling to build a sense of community and connection with your staff or students? This course is dedicated to improving facilitation skills and provides participants with a toolkit of team building activities to use within programs, classes or units to improve morale and re-engage with our teams as we return to in-person interactions.

Business administration alumna and 2021 Alumni of Achievement Dr. Cynthia Teniente-Matson leads Texas A&M University-San Antonio as president. Throughout her career, she has intersected innovation and entrepreneurship with higher education, while also advocating for Latinx and women’s leadership.
