Sept. 2023 through April 2024, Disability Services (DS) offices across the state will be offering free monthly virtual training sessions covering a variety of essential DS topics.

Learning Assistants (LAs) are UAA students who support, guide, and assist fellow students in high demand courses. LAs are embedded in ‘gateway’ courses that are critical for students to progress in their chosen degree path. Gateway courses require students to demonstrate comprehension of course material so that they are prepared to complete other major requirements.
