Enrollment Services closed May 31

Enrollment Services will be closed May 31 for Staff Appreciation Day. While Enrollment Services is usually closed the first Friday of each month, we will be open on June 7.

UAA celebrates Bike to Work Day with community partners

The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) celebrated Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 17, with a series of events highlighting community collaboration, fitness and sustainability. Partnering with Providence Alaska, Trek Bicycle Store of Alaska and People Mover of Alaska, UAA hosted a morning treat station drawing more than 150 cyclists from across the city.

UAA Incident Management Team Update: Notice of campus building closures

The University of Alaska Anchorage Incident Management Team is notifying the students, faculty and staff on the Anchorage campus of building closures as a proactive/preventative measure due to a potential ammonia link from the university's Ice Plant system located outside the Avis Alaska Sports Complex.

Results of the National College Health Assessment

During spring semester over 400 UAA students completed the National College Health Assessment. This survey collected data on a variety of topics including alcohol and drug use, sexual health, nutrition and exercise, personal safety and violence, food insecurity and homelessness, and mental health.
