Join the Campus Community Emergency Response Team

The Campus-Community Emergency Response Team (C-CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

Volunteers Needed! Emergency Management Exercise

UAA Emergency Management is looking for volunteers among the staff and faculty who are interested in taking part in an upcoming emergency management exercise. On March 8, 2024, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., UAA Emergency Management and community partners will simulate a large earthquake event to test existing procedures.

Swipe Away Hunger Campaign Breaks Record

Seawolf Dining is thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of the fall Swipe Away Hunger campaign, a campus-wide initiative to combat food insecurity among students. The campaign, which concluded on Dec. 18, saw an unprecedented surge in generosity, with a remarkable 31% increase in meal swipes donated compared to the spring semester of 2023.
