Biography
Mischa Shimek obtained his B.M. from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2019 in Music Performance and Education with emphasis in Guitar. Currently teaches private lessons along with being an adjunct instructor for UAA. He is also a board member of the Anchorage Classical Guitar Society and has performed with other groups and organizations including the Anchorage Cabaret, Cyrano's Theater, and the Anchorage Bowl Chamber Orchestra. He has also been a competitor in the Northwest Guitar Festival and Competition, traveling to other locations in Seattle, Washington, and Oregon in 2016 to 2017.
