College of Engineering Facilities Access

Building Access

Engineering Buildings are unlocked and open to the public Monday - Friday during the following hours:

  • EIB: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • ECB: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Students enrolled in classes at UAA are automatically granted WolfCard access to all general access campus buildings 7 days/week from 6:45 am - 11:00 pm.  General access includes both ECB and EIB.

Computer Labs and Classrooms

EIB and ECB computer labs and classrooms are unlocked Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and when regular classes are scheduled. Open computer labs (ECB 206 and EIB 202) are wolfcard access only at all times. 

WolfCards are required to access the computer labs on weekends and to access the breakout rooms at any time.  Weekend access is from 7:00 am - 11:00 pm.

Breakout Rooms

Breakout rooms are available in the ECB and EIB for studying/study groups, special tutoring sessions, and other academic activities.  Rooms may be reserved for up to two hours per session.  Instructions for making reservations are at the link below.

Controlled-Access Labs

Access to departmental labs, research labs, and other restricted spaces require approval by the Lab Director or Supervisor using the Laboratory Access Request Form below.

Virtual Computer Labs

Students enrolled in CoEng classes or CTC Building Technologies classes can access engineering software on personal devices using the CoEng Virtual Desktop.  Log on from anywhere -- on or off campus.
