Visitor and Short-term Parking Options

 

Parking is $2 per hour and $10 per day on Main Campus and Housing Visitor Lots.

Pay-by-Plate

This option is individual by vehicle; add more time easily and avoid overpaying daily limits.

Passport

Best option for multiple short-term parking needs.

  • Download the Passport App and pay on-the-go using your smartphone.
  • If you don't have a smartphone, you can still pay-by-phone by calling (907) 341-4170.
  • Must have valid credit or debit card: each transaction includes a $0.20 convenience fee.

Pay N Park Kiosk

Great option for one-time parking needs.

  • All drive-up kiosks are located throughout campus and can be found on the campus map. 
  • Payment methods accepted are $1, $5, and $10 cash denominations as well as debit/credit cards. Coins are not accepted.
  • There is an option for pay-by-plate (permit not required to be displayed), which requires a license plate number to be entered at the kiosk.
  • You can extend your time by entering your plate number and paying for additional time; the kiosk will not allow you to pay more than the maximum for the day.
  • Pay N Park permits are non-refundable and cannot be replaced.
  • The kiosks do not give change for overpayment. Instead, a refund receipt is provided which can be submitted to the Parking Services Office in ESH 102B.

 

Pay-and-Display

Pay N Park Kiosk

The pay-and-display option allows for quick transaction without needing to know your license plate.

  • All drive-up kiosks are located throughout campus and can be found on the campus map. 
  • Payment methods accepted are $1, $5, and $10 cash denominations as well as debit/credit cards. Coins are not accepted.
  • There is an option for pay-and-display; parking permit receipt must be properly displayed, placed face up on the driver side dash and be completely visible from the outside.
  • Pay N Park permits are non-refundable and cannot be replaced.
  • The kiosks do not give change for overpayment. Instead, a refund receipt is provided which can be submitted to the Parking Services Office in ESH 102B.

Scratch-Off Permits

Great option if you need to "give" parking to someone.

  • Scratch-Off permits are a one-time-use hang-tag. Two Hour or Daily Scratch-Offs can be purchased at the Parking Services Office (Eugene Short Hall 102B). Alternatively, single-use Daily Scratch-Offs can be purchased at the Consortium Library Circulation Desk. (Two Hour Scratch-Off Permits are NOT available at the Consortium Library)
  • The Full-Day Scratch-Off is $10.00 and the 2-Hour Scratch-Off is $4.00.
  • The permit must be completely visible from the outside of the vehicle and the date must be completely scratched off. (Year, Month, Day)
  • The permit can be hung from the rear-view mirror or placed on the driver side dashboard so long as it is clearly visible.
