Biography

Mary Mahon works as a program assistant for ACRH-HW. She grew up in North Carolina but has been living in Alaska for more than 15 years. In August 2020, Mary joined the UAA Contact Tracing Team as a Hiring Coordinator. Throughout her time with ACRH-HW, she processed over 200 job applications collected necessary documents, and navigated the university's hiring procedures, ensuring timely and successful recruitments. Her efforts significantly increased the number of COVID-19 contact tracers in Alaska.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Organizes travel arrangements for the Center
  • Helps facilitate various in-person events and training sessions
  • Assists with office management and organization
